Residents joined a High Wycombe councillor to celebrate the opening of a new retirement living development in Hazlemere.

Bucks county and Wycombe district councillor Lesley Clarke unveiled the Trinity Place development, in Beaumont Way, with a ribbon-cutting.

She said: “It was my pleasure to be part of this important milestone at Trinity Place and to see for myself what a fantastic new development it is.

“Living independently and securely is extremely important and, with a growing number of people reaching retirement age, I’m delighted developments such as this are being built to provide retirees with a number of options to make the most out of their later years.”

The event gave Hazlemere residents the chance to find out more about how they could enjoy their retirement in an apartment designed specifically for the over 60s.

Claire Wells, sales executive at Trinity Place, commented: “We were thrilled to welcome Councillor Lesley Clarke OBE, Previous Past chairman, as well as familiar faces from the local area to Trinity Place to mark the opening of the development.

“We are committed to delivering an exceptional lifestyle at Trinity Place.

“With the maintenance of all external and communal areas taken care of, homeowners at Trinity Place can look forward to spending more time enjoying their retirement with family and friends.”

The development is made up of one and two bedroom apartments for the over 60s and has been built by retirement housebuilder McCarthy and Stone.

It features a club lounge, landscaped gardens and a guest suite for visiting family and friends.

A house manager takes care of the day-to-day running of the development; and a security entrance system and 24-hour emergency call points are also included for all flats.
