The M40 had to be shut last night after a car crashed into the central reservation.
Emergency services were called to the northbound carriageway between junction 2 for Beeaconsfield and junction 3 for Loudwatter just before 11pm on Friday night.
A car had hit the central reservation. No other vehicles were involved.
Firefighters from High Wycombe and Beaconsfield helped Thames Valley Police at the scene.
The motorway was closed while debris was removed from the carriageway.
