An Asda employee is enjoying a taste of fame after winning a once-in-a-lifetime chance to appear in the chain’s Christmas advert.
Sara Butler, an Asda colleague from High Wycombe, was selected from hundreds of others to star in Asda’s ‘Bring Christmas Home’ TV advert.
Sara, 22, who works in the bakery at Asda High Wycombe, was invited to Prague to take part in filming.
The adrenalin-fuelled ad sees Santa launch a flaming Christmas pudding into the air before an avalanche of dancing skiers, Santas on motor bikes, cowboys riding Christmas trees and even stunt driving Yetis – all laden with Asda food, gifts and George clothing - descend down a snowy mountain to bring Christmas home to an excited young girl.
Sara features as one of the Asda George party girls, and is shown running down a snowy hill, full of energy, as she brings Christmas home to the girl.
Sara said: "I couldn’t believe it when I was told I was going to be in Asda’s Christmas advert.
“It was completely different to my day job and it was an amazing experience to be a part of.”
