A collection of professional and experienced musicians are set to pay tribute to Eric Clapton in Maidenhead next month.

The Fabulous Duck Bros – Tribute to the Music of Eric Clapton take to the stage at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Thursday, December 6, at 8pm.

The seven-piece Fabulous Duck Brothers pay tribute to their love and appreciation of Eric Clapton’s solo career, times with Derek and the Dominoes, and Cream and is fronted by long term Clapton fan Phil Astles.

The band also perform songs produced by Clapton throughout his long career.

Clapton was born on March 30, 1945, in Surrey and was raised in a musical household. By 1958, Rock and Roll had exploded onto the world. For his 13th birthday, Eric asked for a guitar.

What followed is one of the music industry’s most successful careers - with more than 50 years of touring under his belt, Eric has given concerts in 58 countries across six continents and played to over 2 billion people.

Celebrating the music of one of the UK’s leading rock and blues singer, guitarist and songwriters, the band will perform classics including Layla, Wonderful Tonight, Lay Down Sally, Badge, I Shot the Sheriff, Crossroads, Knocking on Heavens Door and Bell Bottom Blues to avid fans.
