The lead performer of a sixties show that is wowing audiences around the world will return to his hometown next month for a homecoming show at Norden Farm.

The Zoots: The Sounds of the 60s comes to Maidenhead on December 8.

Lead singer Jamie Goddard grew up in the town and attended St Pirans and Desborough schools.

He started The Zoots in 2009 with school friend Kevin Joyce and his dad Martyn who managed the band and came up with the name.

Since then Jamie has performed on the same bill as Gerry and the Pacemakers and The Searchers.

Jamie is also a singer-songwriter in his own right and has released two albums published by Warner Bros as well as writing songs for others.

Now, after headlining venues from the Palladium to Old Trafford and performing to crowds around the world, the band is returning to its roots to dazzle audiences closer to home.

The band will play legendary numbers by Elvis, The Beatles, The Monkees, The Beach Boys and more.

The family-friendly show will see crowds bopping to iconic sixties beats.

The show starts at 8pm. Tickets are available by calling the box office on 01628 788997 or go online to www.nordenfarm.org.
