Standstill traffic on M40 due to rush hour crash
Traffic is standstill on the M40 near Handy Cross this evening.
Vehicles are stuck in long queues on the London-bound carriageway near junction 4 for High Wycombe.
The nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed by emergency services but eyewitnesses say two cars and a van have been damaged and a lorry is also pulled over on the hard shoulder.
Cones were rolled out by traffic officers for a short while but they have now been removed.
