Traffic was at a standstill on the M25 following a crash this evening.
All traffic was temporarily being held after the crash, which happened on the clockwise carriageway from J16 (M40) to J17 (Maple Cross).
The accident is believed to have happened in the outside lane.
There is still queuing traffic and congestion to J13 (Staines). Lane four was closed after the traffic was held to move all vehicles to the hard shoulder.
