A manhunt is underway after an air rifle and antique gun were stolen in a house burglary in Wooburn Green.
Between 10.30am and 12.30pm last Thursday (November 29), thieves broke into the back of a house in Wooburn Town, near St Paul’s Church, and stole the weapons.
Police said no ammunition was taken and are asking residents who may have CCTV footage from the area to get in touch.
Investigating officer PC Amy Hennah, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information about this offence to let us know.
“This burglary took place during daylight hours so I believe someone may have seen a suspicious person or vehicle.
“If any local residents or businesses have CCTV cameras, I urge to review the footage around the time of this incident in case you have captured anything.”
