As Brexit looms on, Trump reigns rampant and everyone seems pushed to extremes, Stephen K Amos’ main aim is to cheer us up.

The comedian is bringing his latest show, Bouquets and Brickbats, to Norden Farm in Maidenhead on December 14 and 15.

The comic and broadcaster says his main aim is to cheer audiences up and “try to help us forget what a mess the world is in right now”.

Describing his motivation, he said: “The world now is one big crazy circus.

“And circus was one of the earliest forms of entertainment to keep the masses appeased in the same way that we have all these crazy distraction techniques now.”

Stephen has been seen on BBC2’s QI, 7Wonder’s The People’s History of LGBT, BBC2’s Live at The Apollo, BBC1’s Have I Got News For You and BBC Radio 4’s What Does The K Stand For?

He has charmed and entertained audiences all over the world with his natural, assured delivery and his honest, original material.

Bouquets and Brickbats comes to Norden Farm Centre for the Arts in Altwood Road, Maidenhead, on December 14 and 15.

The show starts at 8pm and is suitable for comedy fans aged 16 and over.

Tickets are £17.50 at www.nordenfarm.org or by calling the box office on 01628 788997.
