Marlow’s High Street was packed out once again as crowds turned out in droves to the popular late night shopping event this week.

Now in its 26th year, the event, organised by the Marlow Chamber of Commerce, kicked off at 6pm yesterday (Thursday) with a carol service and a procession of animals and nativity scene players.

Crowds were treated to a Miss Santa stilt walker for the first time this year and a giant minion entertained revellers, while children lined up to see Santa in his grotto and the popular live reindeer.

Music and carols were performed by Marlow schools, accompanied by the Great Marlow School band, while the Marlow Amateur Operatic Society and Salvation Army Band played festive classics.

Shops were open until 9pm for people to do their Christmas shopping, with stalls lining the High Street on both sides.
