Crowds got into the festive spirit with a traditional carol service in High Wycombe on Sunday.

The town mayor, Cllr Sarfaraz Khan Raja, hosted the successful event at All Saints Church on December 9 and praised those who turned out and "filled the church".

MP Steve Baker enjoyed the service, ahead of a busy week in Parliament and he was joined by Wycombe District councillors including Cllr Marten Clarke and Cllr David Knights.

The Everyone Can Sing choir and the Hamilton Academy choir lead the Christmas carols and there were speeches from Rev Hugh Ellis, Mr Baker, Cllr Raja and more.

Although the festive event was free to enjoy, a collection was held in a bid to raise vital cash for Cllr Raja's chosen mayoral charity, Horizon Sports Club.

The charity provides sports for children with disabilities and special needs.

The concert also raised funds for All Saints Church.
