High Wycombe residents were left without water due to a broken pipe at the weekend.
Thames Water apologised to residents in the HP11 and HP12 areas after a water pipe on Desborough Avenue broke, leaving some homes without water on December 15.
Engineers were on site to repair the pipe "as quick as possible".
However, the repair teams faced some issues and were still trying to fix the broken pipe on Sunday.
A spokesman said: "The team encountered some issues with our boosters and are still out trying to repair this."
