A teenager was taken to hospital with “stab wounds” following a brawl in High Wycombe.
Police were called out to Hennerton Way at around 1.50pm today (December 23) to reports of a fight between 10 men, with officers being told knives were seen during the scrap.
Detectives said a 19-year-old man presented himself at a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries which suggested he had been stabbed. He remains in hospital.
The attackers are described as being between 17 and 19-years-old with short, dark hair and wearing puffer-style or hooded jackets.
A silver saloon vehicle was also seen in the area and part of the road was cordoned off by officers.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Stephen Fox of High Wycombe Force CID, said: “This was a serious incident in which one person has received injuries which appear to be from a knife.
“This incident happened in the middle of the day in a relatively busy area so we think it will have been witnessed.
“If you saw what happened or have information about any of the details in this case, please contact police.”
