A county council by-election for the Totteridge and Bowerdean ward will take place next month following the death of a long-standing councillor.
A notice of election has been published and polling will take place on Thursday, February 7 after East Wycombe Independent councillor for the area, Chaudhary Ditta, passed away in November.
Nominations for the seat will close at 4pm on Friday, January 11 and a list of candidates will be published by Monday, January 14.
Mr Ditta was re-elected at the Bucks County Council elections in May 2017 with 930 votes, which was 39.9 per cent of votes cast.
Residents can register to vote online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote by Tuesday, January 22.
