A village supermarket was targeted by thieves in a "pick-up style" vehicle in the early hours of the morning.
The Co-Op in High Street, Prestwood, was raided overnight, with police confirming that the robbers used weapons to break into cabinets and steal cigarettes and spirits.
Officers were called to reports of a break-in at around 3.50am on January 7.
Eyewitnesses from the village say the place is "in a mess" following the incident.
A spokesperson for The Midcounties Co-operative said: “An incident took place at Prestwood store on Monday, January 7, when the store was closed and no colleagues were present.
"We are assisting the police with their investigations.”
Anyone with information about the raid is asked to contact the non-emergency number 101, quoting the reference 43190005425.
