Families are invited to remember lost babies and children at an idyllic walk in aid of charity next month.

The historic West Wycombe Park will play host to Child Bereavement UK’s popular Snowdrop Walk on February 10.

The annual event is a day to remember babies and children who have died and children who are bereaved each year.

People will be able to plant a snowdrop in memory of someone special and wander the grounds, taking in the beautiful views.

Individual snowdrops will be available to purchase on the day and a Book of Remembrance donated by a bereaved family will be available to sign.

To keep youngsters amused, there will be an exciting nature trail and for all the family there are activities and refreshments available throughout the day in the village hall.

Emma Riley, senior events fundraiser at Child Bereavement UK, said: “Our annual Snowdrop Walk is a very special event for the many people who attend.

“It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery while also helping Child Bereavement UK to support bereaved families to rebuild their lives.”

The event runs from 10.30am to 4pm and entry costs £3 for adults.
