Detectives are investigating after the shocking daylight attack in the Eden Shopping Centre last weekend.

The victim, a 14-year-old boy, was followed by a group of three boys through the shopping centre when he entered Cineworld on Sunday, January 6.

At this stage, the alleged attackers were joined by an older boy and the group then robbed the 14-year-old of cash and fled the scene.

The victim was not injured during the incident.

The first of the three offenders who initially followed the victim is described as mixed race, about 12 or 13-years-old, with black curly hair, a spotty complexion, brown eyes, large build, and about 5ft 7ins tall.

He was wearing a black bomber jacket with a zip.

He was wearing a dark blue puffer jacket with a beige fur coat.

The third offender is Asian, about 14-years-old, with dark hair, slim, and about 5ft 6ins tall. He was wearing all black clothing.

The final offender who joined the group in Cineworld, is white, about 17 or 18-years-old, with short dark brown hair, large build, and about 5ft 8ins.
