A major crash which caused a lorry to overturn has caused rush hour chaos on the M40 this morning.
There are long queues on the southbound side of the motorway following the collision at junction 1 A40 – Denham Roundabout.
Traffic was held at around 7am for 15 minutes by emergency services to close off lanes two and three.
There is congestion to just after junction 2 – Beaconsfield – and traffic is queuing on the northbound carriageway back to RAF Northolt as drivers slow down to look at the aftermath of the crash.
