Flytippers broke into a cricket club and dumped tonnes of waste on their ground for the second time in 12 months.

Beaconsfield Cricket Club could be forced to fork out more than £10,000 to remove the mounds of rubbish from their grounds at Wilton Park.

Pallets, office chairs, building waste and tins of rapeseed oil are among the rubbish that was dumped when the club's grounds were broken into again overnight on Tuesday.

The waste was dumped where the club held its Christmas tree sales last month.

Eileen Daniel, the club's chair of house and grounds, said: "This is a very serious criminal offence. The cost of removing the waste is likely to be more than £10,000.

"As well as as being unsightly and inconvenient, the rubbish is a potential health hazard and this type of illegal activity is something that must be stopped."
