New pictures show the extent of the damage caused to a house after a van smashed into it almost two weeks ago.

The property, on the corner of the A413, at the junction of Taylors Lane, Little Missenden, has been boarded up and scaffolding has been put up around it after the van became “embedded” into it on January 4.

Pictures and a video from the scene show parts of the building caving in and the front door boarded up.

Temporary traffic lights were set up on the road following the crash to protect the site, but they have now been removed. A reduced 30mph speed restriction has also been put in place.

Taylors Lane is still closed at both ends. South Bucks District Council’s building control team said when work is undertaken to repair the property, the temporary traffic lights will be set up again.
