Generous Marlovians helped to raise more than £34,000 for the 2018 Poppy Appeal.
The chairman of the Marlow branch of the Royal British Legion, Shaun Murphy, thanked the town for helping to raise an £34,500 the RBL’s Poppy Appeal.
A record 6,000 people turned out to remember fallen war heroes in The Causeway last year, which also marked 100 years since the day the WW1 guns felt silent.
Mr Murphy, who served nearly four decades mostly as a royal engineer, said: “A huge thank you to the town. The amount is quite incredible.”
