A bomb disposal team has descended on Gerrards Cross this afternoon.
They were spotted near Station Approach but the emergency services have not yet confirmed the nature of the incident.
An eyewitness says there may be a "potential explosive device" at a nearby bank.
Chiltern Railways has confirmed that there is access to the station as normal and while one of the entrances to the car park may be unavailable, drivers can still get into it.
