A man kicked a dog and before grabbing the pet’s owner and kicking her in the shins at a popular Bucks beauty spot last week.

The woman in her 40s was walking her dogs near the Mansion Hill car park at Wendover Woods on January 29 when a man jogged past her.

The woman’s dog jumped up at the man and he kicked the pet.

When the woman asked the man not to do that, he approached the woman, grabbed her by the coat and kicked her in the shins before running away.

Fortunately, the woman was not injured in the attack, which happened at around 11.25am.

Investigating officer PC Jeremy Oldroyd, based at Aylesbury police station, said: “I am keen to hear from anyone who recognises the man in this image as I believe he has vital information that can help with this investigation.

“Whilst the photo only depicts the back of the man, I believe that someone who knows him could be able to identify him.
