Hundreds of trees have been planted alongside the M40 in Lane End in a bid to cut noise from the busy motorway.
Seven hundred and fifty trees were planted in Four Fields by Lane End Conservation Group, with the help of Wycombe District Council and Habitat Aid last week.
Trevor Mansfield, from the conservation group, said: “This belt of trees will, in time, reduce the visual impact of the motorway at Lane End.”
