An annual charity pancake race in High Wycombe has been hailed as "flipping fantastic" by the organisers.

The High Wycombe pancake race at the Eden Shopping was back and better than ever this morning - with teams from shops, schools and Bucks New University taking part in a bid to raise cash for charity High Wycombe Shopmobility.

The fun race sees teams of three people race towards the finish line while flipping a pancake - and previous winners have included the Eden Shopping Centre security team, Royal Grammar School, John Hampden Grammar School and Noodle Nation.

This year, teams from Eden, HWBIDCo, Marks and Spencer and pupils from John Hampden Grammar School and Hamilton Academy took part in the fun.

The team from John Hampden said they had a "flipping good morning" representing the mayor of High Wycombe, Cllr Sarfaraz Khan Raja in the race.

The team from Noodle Nation, on Pauls Row, flipped their way to victory once again this year - taking home the coveted David Griffin charity shield.

Shopmobility High Wycombe, which organises the fun event, thanked everyone who took part, adding: "We had a great time".
