A man who was arrested on suspicion of election bribery in High Wycombe has been rebailed for another two months.

The 38-year-old was arrested just after 7am on Tuesday, February 5, on suspicion of bribery before, during or after an election.

He was initially released on police bail until March 5.

Thames Valley Police has since confirmed that the man has been rebailed until May 5.

The arrest came just two days before residents in the Totteridge and Bowerdean ward went to the polls to vote for a new county councillor following the sad death of Cllr Chaudhary Ditta.
