A cyclist in his 80s has been taken to hospital with head injuries after he was involved in a crash in Denham on Wednesday.

At around 10.15am a grey Honda Civic and a person on a pedal cycle crashed on Denham roundabout A40 with the A412 Denham Road.

The cyclist, a man in his 80s, suffered head injuries as a result of the crash and was taken to Wexham Park Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

The driver of the Civic was uninjured.

Police said no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

Investigating officer PC Colin Riley, of the joint operations roads policing unit, based at Amersham, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who saw the Honda Civic or the cyclist prior to the collision or witnessed the collision itself.

“We would also ask anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the collision to please come forward.”
