A woman had to be treated by paramedics after a fire broke out at a home in Flackwell Heath.
The fire was caused by an electric kettle on a stove and firefighters rushed to the scene in Cherrywood Gardens just after 1pm.
Paramedics treated a woman who was suffering from the effects of breathing in smoke.
Meanwhile, fire crews from Amersham - which was on standby in High Wycombe - and Maidenhead ventilated the area and carried out a home fire risk check.
