The councillors who will form part of the shadow executive tasked with setting up the new unitary authority have been announced by Wycombe District Council (WDC).
The shadow executive will be made up of 17 members – eight from the county, eight from all four of the districts, plus the leader.
Leader Katrina Wood, and chairman, Tony Green, will both represent Wycombe District Council on the shadow executive, while councillors David Johncock and Steve Broadbent will be substitutes.
Cllr Wood said: “There is a wealth of experience in this line-up, regarding both the intricacies of a move to a unitary authority and as councillors working for the residents of the district.
“My intention is to run this as a ‘Team Wycombe’ with all four bringing their varied skills, knowledge and enthusiasm to the task ahead.”
