Brenton Tarrant, a 28-year-old Australian, has been charged with murder and appeared at court on Saturday following the horrific attack in Christchurch on March 15.
Fifty people were killed and at least 50 others were wounded in the terror attack, which has left the world in mourning.
In a bid to recognise and remember the innocent victims, All Saints Parish Church in High Wycombe town centre played host to an emotional vigil on Sunday afternoon.
Community leaders including Cllr Khalil Ahmed, Steve Baker MP, Reverend Hugh Ellis and Imam Haseeb Jahangir turned out to pay their respects.
Candles were lit and a book of condolences was signed by visitors, which will be passed onto the mayor of Christchurch who will forward it to the relatives of those who lost their lives.
