A kind-hearted group of men from Bucks helped a distressed woman after she had suffered a serious sexual assault when they were on their way home from the Cheltenham races.
Gloucestershire Police urged the group of men, who were believed to be from Bucks and had spent the day at the races, to come forward in case they had vital information.
The men were thought to be travelling back home to Bucks after the races early on Saturday morning and had stopped their vehicle to help the woman.
The woman had been a victim of a serious sexual assault.
The kind group stopped and gave the woman a lift home.
The men in the vehicle have all since been in contact with police.
Gloucestershire Police said: "A huge thanks to everyone who shared our earlier appeal to trace a group of men from Bucks who kindly helped a distressed woman in Cheltenham yesterday morning.
"We've since been contacted by the group - thanks to all for your help in sharing the appeal far and wide."
