Marlow’s pipework is set to be upgraded.
Thames Water will start work in Gossmore Lane, at the junction with Riverpark Drive and Firview Close, next Monday (March 25) for five days, saying the upgrade will ensure customers have a “resilient and reliable water network for generations to come”.
It says although there will some traffic hold-ups as a result of the project, it is expected to reduce leakage and the need for emergency works in the future.
Danielle Trask, of Thames Water, said: “While we’re sorry for the disruption this will cause, it is a project which will have real long-term benefits for our customers.
“The work will build a more resilient and reliable water network for generations to come, and will be completed by two teams to double the speed it takes us.”
Temporary traffic lights will be in place at the junction for the duration of the work.
