A CCTV image has been released by Thames Valley Police of a man who may have vital information relating to two knifepoint robberies in Slough.

The incidents, which are believed to be linked, occurred on March 11.

At around 1pm an offender entered the Crystal Pharmacy in Farnham Road. Two members of staff were threatened with a knife and money was taken from the cash register. The offender then left the shop and walked along Farnham Road towards the Marinos barber shop.

Shortly afterwards at approximately 1.10pm an offender entered the Grover Superstore in Canterbury Avenue. A man entered the store and threatened a member of staff with a knife and took money from the cash register.

A member of public saw the offender leacving the shop. He then turned left onto Canterbury Aenue before turning left onto Hampshire Avenue. He continued to walk along Cinder Track and turned right onto Granville Avenue, before turning right onto Beaumont Road.

No victims were injured during the incidents.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Richard Ayres from Force CID in Slough, said: “I would like to speak to the man in this CCTV image as he may have information vital to our investigation.
