A three-day indoor music festival showcasing roots, Americana, folk and alt-country acts from the US and UK is set to return to High Wycombe next month.

The Ramblin’ Roots Revue festival will run across three stages at Bucks Students’ Union’s venue in Queen Alexandra Road between April 12-14, including the EarBelly acoustic stage which will feature some of the rising stars from the scene.

Festival organiser Tristan Tipping said: “The festival gets bigger and better every year. More than 1,000 people enjoyed last year’s great acts and we’re proud to be back with another fantastic line-up.

“The festival is all indoors so bad weather won’t stop play, and locals can enjoy some quality music right on their doorstep.”

On the Friday night, local music fans will get a chance to see headliner Yola whose new album is steadily climbing the national charts following an acclaimed New Year’s Eve performance on Jools Holland’s BBC show.

Saturday’s headliners include William The Conqueror and The Rockingbirds, godfathers of the British country scene.

The festival wraps up on the Sunday with legendary producer Ethan Johns and his band The Black Eyed Dogs.

Artists from the US such as Austin Lucas, Dan Stuart and Amber Cross will be joined by European acts including Malin Petterson, Amund Maarud and Judy Blank.

The Rebellion Beer Company, Ham Hill Cider and independent distillers will provide a range of craft beers, ales, lagers, ciders and a wide selection of whiskies and bourbons throughout the weekend.

A variety of food concessions will offer freshly prepared BBQ, smokehouse treats, and Tex-Mex delicacies.

Full weekend tickets are £40 with day tickets also available for Friday night (£20), Saturday (£25) and Sunday (£15).
