A south Bucks service station missed out on being named one of the best in the country.
Beaconsfield service station, at J2 of the M40, has ranked 16 out of 112 service stations across the UK in a new survey.
Research was compiled by Northgate Vehicle Hire and rated each service station out of 100.
Its assessment accounted for the number of amenities and quality of the service, including restaurants, parking spaces, bathroom facilities and hotels.
Beaconsfield came in at number 16, missing out on one of the top 10 spots. It was rated 85.50 out of 100, with 12 food outlets, a hotel rating of 3.5 and 1,210 parking spaces.
The average ranking of all service stations was 78.10 but Welcome Break came out on top as the most consistently high service station provider with an average ranking of 82.35 across all of its sites.
