A new “cheating map” has revealed thousands of people around south Bucks are having an affair.

Beaconsfield has been ranked seventh on an extramarital affairs site Illicit Encounters’ list, with 435 people cheating on their partners – up seven per cent on last year’s total of 408.

Other adultery hotspots in south Bucks include High Wycombe – which was named Britain’s most adulterous town in 2016 – with 962 cheats (down from 2,020 last year), Chesham, with 533 people cheating – up from 473 the previous year – and Amersham, with 393 people having affairs – up from 282 the previous year.

IllicitEncounters.com spokesman Christian Grant said: “Adultery is up 11 per cent in Beaconsfield.

“Lots of couples in Buckinghamshire cannot afford to divorce due to the cost of establishing two new homes, so they are sticking with their partner and adding some spice to their marriage by discreetly having an affair.”
