Nurses at Rennie Grove Hospice Care are celebrating after receiving two new sets of wheels from Beaconsfield-based Vehicle Rental Services (VRS).
VRS adopted Rennie Grove as its charity of the year in 2016 and has donated a number of vehicles to the charity since.
Mark Brandom, MD at VRS, said he became a loyal supporter of Rennie Grove when the charity’s nurses helped care for his father and has been fundraising for it since.
Tracey Hancock, director of fundraising at Rennie Grove said: “The continued generosity of VRS is truly remarkable and we are incredibly grateful to Mark and his team.
“Having the use of these two brand new vehicles gives peace of mind to our nursing and fundraising teams that each travel many thousands of miles each year as part of their work.
“It also saves us many hundreds of pounds that can instead be spent on patient care.”
