An investigation has been launched following a double stabbing in High Wycombe.

The first incident took place in Desborough Road at 12.20pm yesterday (April 3) when a 21-year-old man was stabbed.

Officers were then called at 12.05am this morning (April 4) to Queens Acre following reports that a 17-year-old boy had been stabbed.

Later, at around 12.50am today, police believe a weapon was fired through the window of a property in Tenzing Drive. No-one suffered any injuries, police confirmed, who believe the incidents are linked.

Both stab victims suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment, where they remain.

A police spokesman said members of the public are likely to see an increased police presence while officers are at the scenes carrying out an investigation, and that they are working to arrest those responsible.

Anyone with any information relating to these incidents is asked to call the 24 hour non-emergency number on 101.
