A van driver was caught parking on zig-zag lines near a pedestrian crossing in Amersham - and told police they did not think they would get a ticket on a Sunday.
The driver of the white Ford van was reported by officers from Thames Valley Police Chiltern and South Bucks after parking up on white zig-zag lines on Sycamore Road on April 7.
Officers say the driver thought they would not get a ticket because it was a Sunday.
Drivers risk a fine and penalty points by parking on the white zig-zag lines.
The approach to, and exit from, a pedestrian crossing is marked with white zig-zag lines and drivers must not park or overtake in this area, as parking would block the view for pedestrians and oncoming traffic.
