A man was kicked in the chest and punched in the face by thieves who stole his wallet and ran away in Chesham. 

A 46-year-old man was walking along Milton Road into Pond Park Road when he became aware of two men behind him. 

When he turned around, the men demanded he hand over his money before kicking him in the chest, punching him in the face and stealing his wallet before running away. 

The man suffered bruised ribs and cuts to his face. 

One of the attackers is described as an Asian man, aged between 18 and 20 years old and between 5ft 7ins and 5ft 8ins tall.

He was wearing dark trousers with a double white line down the sides of the leg and a dark baseball cap.

The second attacker is also described as an Asian man, aged between 18 and 20 years old and between 5ft 7ins and 5ft 8ins tall.

He was wearing dark clothing and a dark baseball cap.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Kerry Hall, based at Amersham police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who may have dash-cam footage, to come forward.

“A member of the public was walking nearby and stopped to ask the victim whether he was ok. I am particularly keen to speak to this man as I believe he will have information that could be vital to this investigation."
