A man was pronounced dead by emergency services at Chesham Underground station yesterday.
Thames Valley Police, British Transport Police and South Central Ambulance Service were called to the Tube station just before 11am on Wednesday after panicked passengers reported an unresponsive man on board a train.
Paramedics went to his assistance but he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
He was aged in his seventies.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: "The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
An eyewitness told the Bucks Free Press the station was shut down for a number of hours and three police vans, three police cars and two ambulances were at the scene.
The Metropolitan Line was suspended between Chalfont and Latimer and Chesham while emergency services were at the scene.
