Two brothers from High Wycombe are set to cycle to length of the country in support of Child Bereavement UK.

The mammoth ride will see the brothers cover 980 miles and climb 68,500 feet from Land’s End to John O’Groats.

Luke, 23, and Richard, 25, were inspired to fundraise for the charity after they lost their father aged 12 and 13 respectively.

Luke said: For many years it troubled us. It’s only recently we’ve been able to talk about losing our Dad and the impact it had on us emotionally.

“We weren’t supported by Child Bereavement UK, but we would have benefitted greatly from their support. We hope to raise awareness of Child Bereavement UK so that others going through a similar situation can access the support they need.”
