No arrests have been made as police continue to search for the two men who ambushed a woman in Stoke Poges, leaving her unconscious after a vicious assault.

At around 10.15pm on Monday, the woman was driving her cream Fiat 500 along Templewood Road towards Stoke Poges when a man jumped out from the bushes and in front of her car.

The victim was attacked from behind by a second man after she had stopped her car to make sure that the man who jumped out in front of her car from the bushes was not hurt.

She was then punched in the face by the first man, causing her to lose consciousness. When she regained consciousness, both men had fled the scene. She noticed that her bag, which was in the footwell of her car, had been taken.
