ONE of High Wycombe's two McDonald’s fast food restaurants is rated as one of the UK’s worst branches for hygiene.

The McDonald’s branch in the High Street has just a three for hygiene – meaning it is “generally satisfactory” - and has held the rating more well over a year.

It is the fifth worst McDonald’s branch in the whole of the UK and was awarded its three rating by Wycombe District Council on December 28, 2017.

The McDonald’s branches in Ellesmere Port in Cheshire, Lyminster in West Sussex and in Streatham Hill in London were also rated a three and the branch in Wandsworth was given a two.

High Wycombe's other McDonald's branches - in ASDA in Crest Road and at Dovecot Road - both have the highest hygiene rating, a five.
