A 16-year-old boy has been arrested after a moped was driven at a man who was trying to stop two riders from going through a red light in High Wycombe.
The teenager, from High Wycombe, has been arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm and careless driving and has been released under investigation following the road rage attack.
On Wednesday last week at around 5.30pm, two moped riders attempted to go through a red light before being stopped by a 24-year-old man on the side of the road at the junction of Cressex Road and Coronation Road.
Following a brief discussion, the riders returned to the red light, before one of the riders confronted the man and drove a moped at his leg.
The second rider put his right fist out and punched the victim in the head.
The man was treated at Wexham Park Hospital for a head injury and was later discharged.
Police are still urging anyone with information to come forward - call 101 quoting reference number 43190116504.
