A Burnham man has been jailed for more than three years after he was found to be in possession of heroin and crack cocaine.

Dale Lally, of Lake End Road, was stopped and searched by officers in Connaught Close, Maidenhead, on May 24, 2018, when the drugs were discovered. He was arrested and charged the next day.

He pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs at Reading Crown Court on Monday.

Investigating officer, PC Matt O’Riordan, said: “Lally was found to be in possession of a large quantity of Class A drugs. This sentence demonstrates that the supply of controlled drugs is not tolerated.

“We will continue to work tirelessly to deter and apprehend those intent on causing the most serious harm to our communities.

“I would urge anyone with information about drug dealing in their area to make a report online or call the non-emergency number 101.

“Alternatively, reports can also be made anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
