Gunshots were heard in the early hours of the morning in Downley - prompting a major investigation by police.
Forensics and police officers set up a scene watch at a house in Grays Lane after panicked neighbours called 999 after hearing gunshots at around 12.40am on Monday morning.
No one was injured but police say they are carrying out "extensive CCTV enquiries and forensic examinations".
