Trains are having to run at a reduced speed through Beaconsfield - because the tracks are too hot.

Chiltern Railways has warned there could be delays to services - and some may even be cancelled - because of "high track temperatures".

Trains are having to run slowly through the station.

A spokesman for Chiltern Railways clarified that the temperature on the track is different to the air temperature.

They said: "Whilst the air may be cool, the tracks will absorb more heat because of the material it is made from".
