Morning commuters have been left in gridlock traffic today as a result of a major crash involving two lorries, a motorbike, a car and a van which has closed the M25.
As a result of the accident, A roads across the local area have been affected. Transport for Bucks said on social media that the earlier crash “has resulted in almost total gridlock across the A roads in the south of the county – Amersham, Chesham, Denham, Iver etc.”
Traffic has been held on the motorway after a serious between junction 17 and 18. The road has been closed for over two hours since 7.20 this morning, with approximately a mile of trapped traffic being turned around to allow an air ambulance to land.
