A 25-YEAR-OLD woman suffered a terrifying ordeal when burglars threatened her with a knife and a screwdriver in her own house.

It happened at 11pm on Friday in Middle Road, Denham.

The woman locked herself in a room when she heard offenders breaking in but they forced entry to where she was and demanded money.

They also threatened her with a knife and screwdriver before leaving and driving off in a silver vehicle,

The victim was not injured in the incident.

The six attackers are described as men, all wearing black clothing. They spoke with Eastern European accents.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Jemma Tamplin, of Force CID based at Aylesbury police station, said: “This was an extremely distressing experience for the victim.

“Thankfully she was not injured but it was a very upsetting incident. “I am appealing for any witnesses to please contact Police.

“There will be an increased Police presence in the area as we make house to house enquiries and I would urge anyone with information, no matter how small, to please get in touch.”
